The 'Mogprog' Switchslot utility was created by Mr Jelly to allow users to manually change the slot of a model by changing the file header. I included it in the Zip. so you don't have to do a long search through many pages to find it.

For instance, to reslot a Spit2a slotted skin into the Spit9 slot, just plane the .TPC and .3Dz files into the 'Mogprog' folder and scroll down the 'select the plane code' box on the right to selct 'sp09'. All the files in the 'Mogprog' folder will automatically  be renamed from Sp2a****.TPC or .3Dz to Sp09****.TPC/3Dz. Put these files in your EAW or OAW folder (don't forget to rename the folder accordingly : in OAW A-10 for Spit2a has to be renamed A-11 for Sp03 etc...) and you're done.

Note that this program can be used to reslot any other model to any of the EAW slots, but that some modders created non-standard files that don't match the 'classical' header system. Mogprog won't recognize and therefore not reslot these files, which may cause strange results. Mogprog only works with model and skin files, but won't reslot Tmods (ground objets), Terrain tiles or FM/DM.

Note too that some slots use specific palettes, and that some skins can't be converted to these slots without serious rendering problems. Contact the community @ SimHQ or Frugal's for help.
